Property

We are experts in property law and urban planning. Their services include counseling, protection and representation of client´s interests in all matters related to this area of law, including the buying and selling of all types of rural and urban real properties, the building and subsequent sale of properties, participation in all processes involving urban management, planning, regulations, execution and development. In addition, we ensure that each of the acts undertaken is properly recorded with the register.

We are experts in counseling private individuals on the buying and selling of their real property. We also counsel development companies during the entire process of buying and selling land, urban management, planning, regulations, execution, development and the post-sale phase.

Rentals

Protection and representation of all client rights in a leasing situation, as well as the drawing up of any type of lease contract (rural, urban, long or short-term) and the exercising of any and all legal actions taken in the client’s defence, including those related to eviction due to non-payment or expiry of payment, illegal subleasing, etc.

Family and Inheritance

Counselling and organisation of the declaration, distribution and/or acceptance of inheritance, ensuring it is properly recorded at the register, control of the executor’s management of the estate and all matters related to inheritance law.

We are also highly experienced in processes regarding divorce, separation, filiations, violation of visitation rights, settlement of joint property, compensatory allowance, prenuptial agreements, as well as alimony, paternity procedures, legal custody, etc.

Judicial Procedures

Fulfillment of claims and representation in the Courts of Justice in all kind of civil actions, payment order procedures, ordinary processes and minor hearings, and civil actions in order to enforce contractual or non-contractual obligations, as well as the assistance and protection of client´s properties and rights.

Criminal Cases

We are trained in the private assistance and prosecution of each of the crimes and offences set forth in the current Spanish Penal Code, also assisting to those arrested or in custody and carrying out any other necessary actions within this scope.

Commercial

Counseling and protection of client interests in any corporate activity, including the incorporation of civil or commercial companies, drawing up of commercial documents, agreement disputes, liability actions, registration of patents and trademarks, bankruptcy law, mergers and acquisitions, etc

Debt collection

We have a broad experience in debt collection in Spain through Amicable Settlements and Court Cases obtaining an important number of favourable Court Decisions.
Before starting proceedings we will attempt to reach an agreement by contacting the debtor as it may be interesting for you to negotiate with the debtor and try to reach an amicable agreement prior to issuing any legal proceedings against him/her, for instance by sending a Letter Before Action.
If it is not possible to reach an amicable settlement it is necessary to take legal actions against the debtors. Under Spanish Law there are the following types of proceedings:

• Ordinary proceedings: for debts exceeding Euros 3.005, or when the amount of the claim cannot be determined in advance.
• Verbal proceedings: for debts not exceeding Euros 3.005.
• "Monitorio": for debts not exceeding Euros 30.005, being the debt supported by any of the following documents:
• Documents concerning the debt signed or stamped by the debtor.
• Invoices, delivery notes, telegrams or telefax.
• Documents proving the existence of the debt accompanied by documents determining the existence of a commercial relationship between the parties.
• Debts to the Community of Neighbourgs when certifications of non payment have already been issued.
• "Cambiario": claims which are supported by any of the following documents:
• Bill of exchange.
• Cheque.
• Promissory note.
• Executive proceedings: claims which are supported by any of the following documents:
• Public deeds.
• Loan contracts.
